The New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) has substantially completed the project, Safe Route to Schools–Phase III (HWCSCH3B-3), at various locations within Community Boards 3, 5 and 10 in the borough of Queens. These safety enhancements included neck-downs, new sidewalks, curbs, pedestrian ramps, drainage/road re-alignments, pavements markings, traffic signal upgrades, street lighting and landscaping.
PCC was awarded this project by The Port Authority of NY & NJ. The scope of work under this project was rehabilitation of the North Boundary, Eastern and North Hangar Road.
PCC was awarded this project by the New York State Thruway Authority. The scope of work under this project includes the relocation of utilities from the North Avenue Bridge to a New Utility/Pedestrian Bridge in the New York Division of the New York State Thruway in Westchester County.
